Located in London, England, The Standard Hotel is a contemporary space offering panoramic views across the city with nostalgic 70’s styling to the interiors.
Kristina and Jonothan wanted a modern and relaxed wedding and working with Wedding Planner and Stylist HILDE they crafted a day full of outstanding food and colourful spaces.

For her wedding look, the bride, Kristina, worked with The Own Studio and paired this with a veil by AM Faulkner.
The dress
The ceremonyChoosing to hold their ceremony and their reception in Michelin Starred TRIVET restaurant was a bold choice that really paid off.
The couple knew they wanted food and drink by a favourite restaurant rather than a caterer. The cuisine was extraordinary. The setting was elevated and welcoming.
After the ceremony, a relaxed cocktail reception followed on the sunny terrace outside followed by a dinner in the restaurant.
Florist Hattie Flower created a sensational palette infused with 70’s tones and interesting textures.

The portraitsWe spent a few minutes capturing some portraits of Kristina & Jonothan before we left for the party at The Standard.
In a private suite at The Standard with panoramic views across London, guests were treated to cocktails at sunset, speeches, and cake. Colourful decor by Hattie Flower adorned the bar area.

“Capturing the day was very important to us and we are so lucky to have found Louise from Taylor & Porter. She was wonderful and so much fun – she made us feel comfortable and really enjoy the entire process. Her work is gorgeous, but the fact that she can make people who aren’t models feel so at ease is really a testament to her skill. The attention to detail and the quality of her work are just on another level. She was incredibly patient with us, brought out the best in us and captured the day perfectly.”
