DOMAINE DE PRIMARD, FRANCE
Located just an hour from Paris, Domaine de Primard stands as a testament to the beautiful blend of history and contemporary design. This 18th-century estate, once home to iconic French Actress Catherine Deneuve, offered the ideal backdrop for Alexis and Fabrice’s elegant wedding, meeting their two requirements: historical and luxurious.
With interiors elegantly renovated by Beryl Le Lasseur, Domaine De Primard establishes itself as a dream wedding venue in France.
The weekend was planned to perfection by Apricity Event Co.

The groom
Fabrice opted for a white Tom Ford wedding suit, keeping the look clean and modern with classical elegance woven throughout.
Adding to her radiant look were the bride’s adornments—a Cartier wedding band paired with an engagement ring by Marisa Perry Atelier in NYC and a stunning family heirloom—the groom's great grandmother's engagement ring from 1920, redesigned by Cartier in the 40s. The bride loves its bold, modernist look that resembles the work of Suzanne Belperron.

The dress
Bride Alexis donned a breathtaking Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, customised to her vision.
It’s clean silhouette, complemented by a dramatic and detachable Watteau back, paid homage to the 18th-century fashion that once graced the halls of Domaine de Primard.
The ceremony
The gardens of Domaine de Primard, with a manicured yet delightfully unkempt appearance, presented an enchanting backdrop for the ceremony. Lily Paloma’s floral designs seamlessly integrated with this setting, from climbing florals adorning the main entrance to the curved aisle hugging the fountain.
Their bilingual, non-religious ceremony resonated in both English and French, enriched with an Apache wedding blessing— a heartfelt nod to the bride's father and his association with the Apache and Sioux tribes.
The couple’s young son had the honour of presenting their Cartier wedding bands, housed in a velvet Sophie Billie Brahe box that elegantly matched the shutters of Primard.
The band
Originally from Cameroon, Sango Ndedi Ndolo, writes his own music and alongside his band, they do incredible covers by Prince, Otis Redding and more. The bride discovered the magic of Sango while eating lunch at Coco in Paris.
Post-ceremony, everyone transitioned to the back lawn for the drinks’ reception, with a serene river serving as a backdrop, housing the estate’s swans. Iron garden furniture was thoughtfully placed across the lawn, fostering intimate conversation nooks, all while The Sango quartet infused the ambience with their lively rhythms.
The cocktail
The couple, who wed in a civil ceremony the year prior in New York City had been together for 8 years before tying the knot.

The dinner
The celebrations that followed were as personal as they were grand. From the alfresco dinner in the apple orchard of Primard's renowned restaurant, Octave, to the disco-Afro-funk beats that lit up the after-party, Alexis and Fabrice’s Provence wedding was a harmonious blend of tradition, luxury, and individuality.
